Failures can be of many kinds like congestive heart failure, liver failure or kidney failure. I consider these failures to be the most fatal ones and leave them for experts to discuss them. I will not be discussing reasons or causes of these fatal failures but I am going to discuss general failure in life. The failures which leave dirty long lasting bruises all over the physical, mental, psychological aspects in a human life and also not to forget these failures also leave bad bruises on the Resume of an individual. So why God did allowed failure to find place in our lives. I think there must be some valid reason for this because God never allow anything without any purpose. And wait do not draw a conclusion that is article is some kind of prophecy on God. The last few sentences were just my personal belief and you have complete right to disagree with me.
Failures can be in to form of losing all your work when your hard drive fails and data recovery is not possible or your seat belt fails to work properly and you run into some major unexpected accident. This is also possible that you face an unexpected loss which results into a financial crunch and you may fail to pay your credit card bill. These are some common failure that we all face in our lives when we least expect them and they are so unexpected in our lives that we get so disturbed that we lose our sense of right and wrong. Many a times when failure hits us very hard and if do not have a support system then we get lost and we indulge in self destruction practices like gambling or drugs. Many reasons can result into failure but one should try and avoid self misery and accept failure with grace and contemplate the reasons for the failure. May be this failure was destined in the path of life to teach an important lesson or remind us of some important facts of life, which in past were easily neglected in our busy lives.
Like any hardware engineer who does disk failure analysis, we all require to perform a life failure analysis to ensure the lesson is well learned, chewed and digested in our system and error is not repeated. If the lessons are not chewed and digested well then it may result into an email delivery failure, which means if the email is not delivered then the email will be sent again by the sender. In the same way life would send back the lesson through another failure giving another chance to learn, chew and digest.
One needs to note a fact of life. Life likes to behave like “Law of Gravity” if one throws a ball of success up in the air then the ball has to come back and hit the ground of failure. And after hitting the ground of failure the ball again has to bounce back into the air of success. This is like a cycle. One needs to understand this and he or she should not stop the natural flow of this cycle by letting one into too much of pain and grief. Too much of pain and grief only make the ball to stick for a longer period of time to the ground of failure. The best thing would be to handle every failure like a process and wait for the ball to bounce back again in the air of success. Of course bouncing back may happen in micro seconds in the case of a real ball but in real life bouncing back may take time like days, weeks, months or sometimes even years. So one should not lose his faith and patience but he should hope for this time to be over and do not rush into things. But he should focus on learning, chewing and digesting the lessons learnt from the failure. Because the lessons learned during these hard times can be used as a treasure for future by him and as well as by others.
So whether it is a heart failure or a disk failure, all these fatal failures can be cured and if these fatal can be cured then I think the regular life failure of any order can be cured with time and faith.
